“വാപ്പാ …… ഞാൻ ഇറങ്ങട്ടെ, ഇന്നും ലേറ്റ് ആവും ഓഫീസിൽ എത്താൻ” മകളുടെ രാവിലെയുള്ള ഗദ്ഗദം കേട്ടിട്ടാണ് പരീക്ക മുറിയിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്തു വന്നത്. ഏകദേശം ഒരു നാഴികയോളം മീതെ വണ്ടി ഓടിച്ചാലേ  ജബൽ അലിയിലുള്ള അവളുടെ ഓഫീസിൽ എത്താൻ കഴിയൂ.അവൾക്ക് കുട്ടികൾ മൂന്നായി. എന്നാലും അവളുടെ കൊച്ചു വ്യാകുലതകൾ പോലും ഇന്നും പരീക്കാക്ക് സങ്കടങ്ങളാണ് .”മോളെ വാപ്പ കൊണ്ടു വിട്ടാലോ ?”എന്ന് ചോദിയ്ക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചെങ്കിലും പരീക്ക അതിനു ശ്രമിച്ചില്ല .അല്ലേലും വാപ്പ വണ്ടിയെടുക്കാനുള്ള പ്രായം കഴിഞ്ഞെന്നാണ്…
